CNC One Day Event on May 16th and 17th.
Nearly three hundred riders took part in this event with classes form Junior Pre Introductory right through to Two Star. The full results can be viewed here but the winner of the Two Star was Emma Dougall on Wenlock Lodore. Emma also rode Kelecyn Ice Age to victory in the One Star.
For the first time, the start to the course was on the western side of the grounds. this provided easy access for competitors from their vehicles to the warm, start and finish and, by all accounts the new additions worked very well.
The CIC event in September will see the EI jumps included as well.
For this event, there was a new ablution block at the camping area. There were just a handful who reported a "cold" shower when the water pressure dropped, however, in the main, the new facilities were much appreciated.
Thanks to all competitors, officials and volunteers for ensuring the weekend went off well.

The Warwick Horse Trials Summer School was conducted on the 24th and 25th of January 2009.
There were a great range of instructors (16 in all) and the 185 particpants have given excellent feedback.
Saturday was really hot but the cold water doing the rounds seemed to do the trick. Saturday evening there was a nice dinner, some karaoke, a lecture on how to assess horse fitness, and some good old fashioned story telling!!!
Sunday was a lot cooler (thankfully) and people enjoyed the let up from the heat.
It was excellent to see so many young children coming through the ranks and, as well as refining their skills, having a blast!
PLEASE NOTE - Warwick Horse Trials enforces the policy of No Dogs at any event, of any level. Please do not bring a dog as you will not be given access to the ground. This policy is both for infection control and safety.
