One Day Event Scoring

Dressage - Parallels the parade ground. The horse must be obedient, graceful and submissive, the rider poised and elegant. Marks between 0 and 10 are awarded by each judge to a competitor for each numbered movement of their dressage test. The movement marks and collective marks awarded by each judge are totalled, any errors of course are deducted and the resulting total is converted into a percentage of the maximum possible marks. An average percentage between all judges is then calculated.

Cross Country - With courage, speed and stamina, the Cross Country phase replicates the battlefield - wonderful entertainment! The Cross Country course consists of 20 to 30 fixed natural obstacles for the horse to negotiate over a 6km distance.
