Welcome to the Warwick Winter School to be held on the 27th and 28th June, 2009

 

As for all our schools, there will be a great range of instructors catering for every age and level.

All levels from beginners through to advanced horses and riders are catered for.

Some of the instructors include Ursula Lang, Kevin McNab, Sarah Ingham, Emma Dougall, David Finch, Shane Davidson, Rebel Morrow and Olivia Bunn.

Fees will be $220 (Inc GST). This includes two lessons of 2 hours duration on Cross Country and 2 lessons of two hours duration on Show Jumping.

Dressage lessons will be provided only on request and will be an individual lesson of 45 minutes in place of one of your other sessions. Anyone wishing to swap for a dressage lesson can now nominate which class (either XC or SJ) they wish to swap by choosing either class 2.1 or 2.2.

If you wish to have your 4 lessons PLUS an extra dressage lesson you can do so by booking on line and paying the $70 fee.

Yards for the horses are available at the Horse Trials grounds @ $11 per horse per night.

Camping is available at the Horse Trials grounds @ $11 per person per night (powered) or $5.50 per person per night (unpowered). All prices include GST. There is 100 powered campsites and 160 unpowered campsites.

There will be a full canteen operating for the whole weekend.

Please note there will be no meal Saturday night, but hamburgers will be available.

Come and enjoy "big screen" entertainment and a quiet drink, and relax around the campfire.

Nominations are now closed, however there are a couple of little things to note...

  • Please provide us with as much information as you can, however if you do not have all your EFA information, it is not that important for this event.
  • If you are not an EFA member, please put "Pending" where the EFA number is requested. You can become temporary members of the Warwick Horse Trials Club to cover you for the weekend - simply download the form at this link, fill it in and post it back to Warwick Horse Trials, PO Box 904, Warwick, QLD, Australia 4370.
  • Please take care in selecting your class and ensure that you have picked the ones that most accurately describes the ability of both you and your horse. The club reserve the right to change the riders classes if it is deemed that they are not suitable for that level.
  • There are a few changes to the classes for this school. You now choose your age group and what height you are currently training at, e.g. If you are competing at Intro you would choose your age group and a jumping height of up to 80cm. Everyone will still recieve 2 x 2 hr XC lessons and 2 x 2 hr SJ lessons.

Read it all???

For anyone wanting to do only 1 day it is THEIR responsibility to find someone for the other day.

The club reserves the right to accept or reject late entries and to charge a 20% late entry fee. We also reserve the right to change riders classes if it is deemed that they are not suitable for that level. The club reserves the right to merge classes (depending on ability, then age) if numbers are insufficient.

Refunds (less 10% administration fee) on scratchings will only be on production of Veterinary or Medical Certificate (dated on or before June 21st) and received by midnight 21st June 2009. Scratchings made after the draw is released, will not be eligible for a refund.
