HOT NEWS.... Thanks to Karen Jurgensen, there is now a superb DVD of this prestigious event. It is a truly spectacular pictorial collection and is set to wonderful music. For ordering details email Karen at starwoodphotos@optusnet.com.au.
Shane Rose on All Luck took out the FEI Eventing World Cup qualifier held in Warwick, Australia on the 13th and 14th May. After a magnificent dressage test (38.2 pen), they had only 0.8 time faults on cross country and held a commanding lead over the rest of the field.
There had been a lot of work done on the cross country and the pair handled the six new complexes with ease. With a uniquely Australian flavour, the cross country had kangaroos, echidnas and wombats to jump and even a platypus looked on at the water jump.
Whilst admitting they were a little rusty in the showjump phase after a six month lay off, Shane and All Luck were convincing winners, even with 3 rails down. Second in last years qualifier, Heath Ryan, rode Diablo Heart into second place with a total of 62.1 penalties.
A total of 12 combinations completed the demanding cross country course and thrilled the large crowd with spectacular riding. On a beautiful Australian Winters day, there were a total of 329 riders competing across all grades.

Teams Event brings success for Central Queensland and Warwick Horse Trials... A comment from the winners...
Living in Central Queensland our closest EFA Eventing course is 4.5 hours to Maryborough and we love making the 10 hour trip to Warwick. I was part of "Team Lost" which consists of four members with their origins in Central Queensland. Carley Garside from Capella, Stephanie Mackay from Emerald, Harvey Besley from The Caves (north of Rockhampton) and myself (Gabby Brown)from Gracemere (west of Rockhampton). Keep up the good work.
